MATH

  • Practising competences. In this document you will find geometry exercises with areas and perimeters, patterns with algebraic expressions, a visual perception exercise and word problems. DEADLINE TO SEND BY E-MAIL:  Friday 24th April to spessarrodona@sek.es.
  • Graphs task – This task was introduced on Friday 17th and will be reviewed on Wednesday 22nd. We will learn how to create different graphs using Excel.

  • Read the poem and watch the video called ´The Only One We´ve Got´. Think about it, reflect and answer questions 1-12 in detail. (Complete only questions 1-6 if it is a bit too difficult for you). EXTRA: How is this relevant to our Unit of Inquiry? Can you add another verse or write a similar verse using homophones? SCIENCE

  • Watch the video about Greta Thunberg and her friends. Collaborate in a group of 3 and choose one activist to inquire about. One group member must email Ms Nathalie with the name of the students in your group, and your chosen activist. If you find another young activist, you can choose them instead. I want to know who they are, what they are doing, why they are doing this. You can complete the work together as a group, perhaps one person can answer each question, you can add more information, please connect this to our Unit and our lines of Inquiry. Perhaps you can work together and create a PowerPoint. You will be expected to add more next week, I will let you know what to do. By the end of the Unit you will present your work to your class. ALL LANGUAGES

  • LEARNING KIDS A to Z and BOOK on BOOKS. Choose a book, according to your level. Not too easy, not too difficult. Read it. When you finish it, on a Word document, write 5 things you have learnt from the book, and 5 or more words you didn’t know before reading this book to show you have understood the meaning. It can be in the language you choose, English, Catalan or Castellano. Send it to your language teacher via email.

PYP

  • Create a Teams group and invite your tutors to join.
  • Continue with all your PYP work and research, remember to be creative and whenever possible, take action.
  • Connect your Sustainable Development Goal to our Unit of Inquiry
